Method
In a bowl, whisk together the warm water and yeast until dissolved.
Add the flour and salt, then mix until combined.
Pour in the olive oil and continue mixing until a soft, sticky dough forms.
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise at room temperature for 1½–2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Transfer the dough to a well-floured baking tray and let it rest for another 20 minutes.
Gently stretch the dough into your desired pizza shape, making sure both the top and bottom are lightly floured to prevent sticking.
Place a piece of aluminum foil in the center of the dough, shaping it to the size where you want the toppings. This helps keep the center from rising too much while the crust puffs up.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden.
Remove the foil.
Spread on the pizza sauce and top with the burrata, oven-roasted tomatoes, garlic, oregano, and a drizzle of olive oil.
Return to the oven for a few minutes, if desired, until everything is warm.
Finish with fresh basil, flaky sea salt, and another drizzle of olive oil before serving.
Dilruba’s tips
Be sure to flour both the top and bottom of the dough before stretching to prevent sticking.
Keep an eye on the pizza during the last few minutes of baking, as oven temperatures can vary.
