Method
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cut each bread roll into 6 sections, being careful not to cut all the way through the bottom. The roll should stay intact.
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, dried chives, and milk until smooth.
Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner cut off.
Pipe the cream cheese filling into each cut section of the rolls.
In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, egg, milk, paprika, minced garlic, salt, parsley, and Parmesan.
Dip each filled roll into the garlic butter mixture, making sure the outside and the cut sections are well coated.
Place the rolls on a lined baking sheet or baking dish.
Sprinkle additional Parmesan and parsley over the top.
Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes, until warmed through and lightly browned on top.
Serve warm.
Dilruba’s tips
Make sure the cream cheese is softened before mixing so it pipes easily into the cuts.
Coat the rolls well in the garlic butter mixture, including between the cuts.
